After revealing the eye-catching features of Windows 10, Microsoft has gathered public concentration about Windows Security in their Latest Windows OS.

After the release of their latest Windows 10 Tech Preview version, start menu, multi windows, they have said that the latest windows 10 will have muti-factor authentication system built in and will aslo support local security services to prevent evil access to the system.

Recent bugs in Windows and patches of them have crated a panic in the Windows users. So this official report from the Redmond Giant will make the scenario well.

The latest security announcements were reported by a official blog post by Microsoft's Jim Alkove, who is the head of Windows Enterprise Program Management Team.  It is said that recent breaches in enterprise level have made the Redmond side to think about Windows security and also to tighten it in their next Windows version.

"We're seeing network breaches resulting from techniques as simple as username and password theft. In a couple of recent cases, hackers infiltrated Fortune 500 companies using stolen usernames and passwords, which gave them access to point-of-sale systems and the credit card data being processed with them," he said. - See more at: http://www.eweek.com/enterprise-apps/microsoft-windows-10-to-offer-new-robust-security-features.html#sthash.M4YXVaYp.dpuf

It is needless to say that top-level IT professionals also upload sensitive information about them in personal email and Cloud account without thinking about the consequences of getting those  data hacked. So Alkove believes that along side Cyber criminals, users are also responsible for these kind of hacks. So from the root of the problem, it is hightime to make the base, in this case the machine itself, should be made more secured to grant users more security.

About the multi-factor authentication system, Alkove said that machine itself will be used for the user authentication.

It is believed that by multi-factor authntication system he means that windows will take fingerprint of the device and would be automatically able to enroll the new ones. The devices perhaps would generate tokes, contained in a secured sontainer, that runs on top of the Hyper-V Technology.

Not only that, along side they have also planned to introduce some biometric authentication system or a PIN system to offer user more security. We have already experiences Fingerprint technology in many Apple devices, so seeing them in Windows will a interesting thing.

Alkove added,

Windows 10 provides an advanced data protection solution for the desktop, but what about mobile? This solution will provide the same experience on Windows Phone as we see on the Windows desktop and we’ll provide interoperability such that protected documents can be accessed across multiple platforms. Lastly on data protection in Windows 10 organizations can define which apps have access to corporate data via policy. We took this capability a little further and extended these polices to address VPN requirements that many of you have shared with us.
Microsoft has also added that Windows 10 will also be able to lock down a PC so that it can only uses the applications which were listed ago by the user. So it proves that, malwares won't run in a locked PC unless until unless malware itself can does it. Though Microsoft has intruduced this technique with a view for the IT companies, where IT managers would be able to choose which software to run on which machine, this factor will help the general public as well.
